First, understand bolts first, and briefly introduce bolts and bolts:

Ordinary bolts can be divided into three grades of A, B, C according to the production accuracy, A and B grades are refined bolts, and C grade is rough bolts. For connecting bolts for steel structures, unless otherwise specified, they are generally ordinary crude grade C bolts. Of course, there are other special-shaped bolts and special purpose bolts, so I won’t introduce them. Let's take 10.9 high-strength bolts as an example throughout the article to talk about bolts.
2. To make a bolt, you need to design a bolt first
If you want to do a good job, you must first define its characteristic requirements. Here are the technical requirements. How to define the technical requirements. In fact, it is really rare. You must know the relationship between the functional requirements and the technical requirements. From the functional requirements, functional requirements are from the user or the use environment or other external conditions. The analysis of functional requirements can be performed using the quality function deployment (also known as house of quality) technology, which is not introduced here.
How can the functional requirements be converted into technical requirements? This requires a certain accumulation of technology. To give two simple examples, if you want to make the fatigue strength of the bolt better, you must rationally design the transition fillet of the bolt head, Bolt root fillet, thread and screw transition, and then reflect these designed information on the design drawings or technical requirements. For another example, in actual applications, bolts are required to not be corroded for a long time in a relatively harsh corrosive environment. You need to select the appropriate surface treatment or bolt material according to the corrosive environment and the corresponding standards to meet the requirements of the application environment.
